Giving Notice-HELP!

If an employee gives a two week notice to their employer and the employer asks them to leave immediately, is the employee entitled to two weeks pay? (Does employment at will do away with this?)

Re: Giving Notice-HELP!

Hello. It depends on

whether the employer's

request that you leave is

a firing or just an invitation

to leave to allow the employer

to find a replacement, etc.

If the request is a firing,

the employee, in my opinion,

loses in his or her attempt

to get two weeks pay.
