Senior Property Tax Exemption
Can an estate of a deceased senior citizen apply for the senior property tax exemption. My father died in 2001, but his property was not sold until March of 2002. Can I apply for the senior property tax exemption that is given in Cook County on behalf of his estate?

No, because the estate is not a senior citizen.
