Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

custody

I am a single mother, who has had joint domicilary custody of 1 girl since her birth in 1999. Her bioligocal father has paid some child suppor but never consistent and hasn't had visitation until now, he had a court order for tempory domicilary custody severed on me 4weeks ago and took my daughter, giving her back 2 weeks ago, he still has domicilary but joint custody with myself. He asked me but never signed anything, for my boyfriend to move out when he gave my daughter back and i did, but now i feel it's time for my boyfriend to move back home. If he comes back home, do i need permission from the bioligocal father or will i have trouble with the courts if he comes back home?

Re: custody

You are headed for trouble if you allow your boyfriend to move back in with you. A lot depends on where you live and the jurisdiction and who the judge is. The biological father should never have been allowed to take the baby to start with and this was not done correctly, but no big deal now. You don't state if you are now the designated domicillary parent. please reply. pascal
