Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My daughter wants me to homeschool my grandson, but in the state of MD, you can only homeschool if you are the parent or guardian. Can I become my grandson's guardian just for the purpose of homeschooling, and if so, how do we go about that?

You would have to file a petition for guardianship in the circuit court of your county. Consult an attorney who is familiar with this procedure to assist you.
