Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Maryland
I would like to start a business in which I would copy the client's Vinyl recordings to my PC and then using a Vinyl convertor software make copies of the vinyl recording on CDs for my clent. Note: I would only be copying each client music to CDs- not reselling this music to anyone else. Question: Would I be violating any copy rights law by starting such a business??

Yes this would be copyright infringement. "Copyright infringement occurs when a copyrighted work is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or made into a derivative work without the permission of the copyright owner." What you are doing here is making unauthorized copies and distributing them.
