Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

Ocular Histoplasmosis

How can I claim this injury? I have worked in an industrial plant with pigons and droppings in my work area. Is there a time limit for filing a claim? I had my eye lasered treated about 2.5 years ago.

Re: Ocular Histoplasmosis

If your doctors attributed the ocular histoplasmosis to your work conditions as described, you would have 2 years from the time they informed you of this to file a claim for workers' comp. If you waited beyond that time, you could still file a claim, but most likely the insurer would raise the issue and the claim would be thrown out.
