Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

Can I demand a jury after an appeal has vacated and remanded the first decision?

I recently won an appeal where the judge vacated the order and remanded the case to the district court for a new trial. I did not ask for a jury in the first trial, but want one now. Do I have a right to a jury?

You waived it. However, if you can think of good reasons why you want a jury now, such as changes in the law, etc., perhaps you can make a motion and request a jury. the worst that would happen is the judge would deny your motion.
