Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Michigan
Landlord/Tenant
I work in a Salon that rents a storefront in a mini mall. The employees at the salon have asked a local market to come by each day to take our lunch orders and deliver our lunches to us. The landlord, who also owns the bar that shares our parking lot, has informed us that she will call the police if we order lunch from this business again. She is trying to say that the market is soliciting, however we are inviting them on the premesis (no different than ordering a pizza for delivery). Is it lawful for her to tell them that they are not allowed in our parking lot even though we have asked them to come?
