maximum occupancy

how many people can live in a 2 bedroom apartment. Is it illegal for 2 adults and 3 children to live in a 2 bedroom apartment in the state of michigan. 2 of the children are boys and 1 is a girl, they are not related

The question asked isn't a simple one since many things may control. No "main" law says. Local city or municipal limitations may address how many unrelated people may reside in a home. In addition, if you are receiving any financial assistance from an organization they may limit the number of people. A third, and very common one is that the apartment community may have a policy that they allow no more than 2 people per room, no matter what the age.
