Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Michigan

Law of Limitations

Is there a remedy to the law of limitations involving medical malpractice, whereas, the injury does not manifest itself until 8 years later. In aug/sept of '92', after a motorcycle accident the initial hospital gave me 3 x-rays, said I may have a bruised muscle, put my arm in a sling, gave me vicodin. Next day I was treated at another hospital. My arm was actually dislocated nearly 24 hrs. I now have avascular necrosis of my left shoulder.
