Legal Question in Business Law in Minnesota

Using a Signature Stamp

What are the legal implications of using a Signature Stamp in a Business Setting. This would pertain to contracts with other businesses, banks, contractyors other lendors etc. Would a signature stamp mean that the contract would be invalid?

Re: Using a Signature Stamp

A signature stamp can be as valid as your personal signature. As to a contract, the issue is whether it was reasonable for the other party to the contract to believe that you were expressing your intent to be bound by that contract by allowing that signature stamp to be used. For that reason, it is important to control who has access to a signature stamp.
