Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Child custody
I am seeking to have full custody of my son. I am not confident in his mother's
concern for his well being and safety. My son is always placed in a hostile
environment when in her care and his safety is my main concern. I am still
bothered about an incident that happened several months ago when he was
almost thrown down a flight of stairs by his aunt(his mother's sister) at his
mother's parent's residence after a physical altercation between his mother and
grandmother erupted. She comes from a dysfunctional family that is always in
some kind of hostile altercation with each other and have no concern for the
welfare of the children present.I need to know what steps I must take in order to
ensure my son is kept away from that environment and what are my chances of
obtaining full custody. Thank You.

Re: Child custody
You must file a motion for custody based on circumstances endangering your child's health and welfare under the divorce or action or custody action which gave rise to the mother have custody of your child.
