Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Been divorced 1 1/2 yrs. Lost job 7 months ago, haven't been able to fined anything, cannot keep up with lifetime alimony payments, paying $725.00 per week I know I have to support my children however I am in dire straits & afraid to go to jail, is there any way to lower my payments, I am already in arrears & things are getting worse every day. I am sleeping in my car. What if I do not find enough work to enable me to pay the weekly obligation. Can you advise?
