Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I am on the verge of a divorce adn I have been married for 5 years. I have owned my house in which we both live in as our primary residence for 10 years. My name is the only one of the deed. . However, I have owned the house for 5 years prior to her moving in. Is she entitled to any of the house in the divorce?

Yes, we would have to do some math to figure out how much it was worth then and how much it is worth now. However, you should never consider one issue in a vacuum as there are a number of moving parts in a divorce case that all impact on each other. Hire a good attorney and let him or her help you through the process.
She might be entitled to a portion of the increased value (if there is any) for the contributions made during the marriage but there are lot of facts to consider as it was a pre-marital asset and you do not indicate she was added to the deed, etc.
