Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
My wife has moved out of the house. No divorce action is filed at this time and she is living with another man. Can I file for divorce using adultery as the reason?

You can use adultery as a ground for divorce and you can also use irreconcilable differences for six months as another ground for divorce. Getting a divorce in New Jersey is not so hard.

You certainly can. There are pros and cons in doing so vs. filing for irreconcilable differences. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please contact me at 732-663-1500.
You could, but it might not make sense. Call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
Yes, you can although it may not make an economic difference. This can be explained to you by your attorney. You should not delay in speaking with an attorney as it may prejudice your rights.
