Sued me asking for Liquidated damages and etc. Yesterday I got court summons to reply back in 35 days. Here is what happened.

3. I tried to solve my salary problem for about 3 months. I have all written proofs.

4. They did not pay me for my first month salary after I land in USA. They started paying me after a month.

5. They did not pay me so called ''Bench salary'' for about 1 month.

6. They harassed me a lot by calling night times when I was serving notice period. My husband is a witness for this.

Re: Employer Sued - Need urgent help

You have a good defense and probably a counterclaim. Since you said that the matter pertains to NJ law and you are located in CT, I am guessing that the company is located in NJ. You will probably want to select a lawyer who is reasonably close to the court in which the matter is filed. If that is one of the central or southern counties, please consider my firm. Call or email.
