Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Payment of Cellular Phone Bill

My ex live-in boyfriend and I shared a two phone cell phone contract and since we have split, he refuses to pay the last bill on his phone, which of course he had in his possession and used quite a bit. The billing comes in my name, but there is a record that the phone was used by him. I wanted to know if I file in small claims court, could I expect to get some of the money back. I also want him to be held responsible for 1/2 of the month's utilities and mortgage payment. We did have a joint checking and right before he left, he stopped his direct deposit, so I didn't have the money from his paycheck to pay these bills.

Re: Payment of Cellular Phone Bill

Suing him is the easy part. Collecting on the judgment will be more dificult. sue on the theory of unjust enrichment.

Good Luck
