living will and deed to the houses

My father is dying of cancer and my mother and I don't know exactly where to start searching for this information. My father always said go to the city of akron they have everything, How do we know if my mother is on any of these papers. My father was always so secertive about things now he can't even respond to the simple things less on giving up information on where these legal papers are. My mother did file for power of attorney

Presuming it is properly written, your mother can use her Power of Attorney to obtain the information you describe.

A Power of Attorney is not something you file for. It is a document your father would have signed voluntarily when competent. Your mother could file for guardianship, and obtain the information in her capacity as guardian.
