Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Property

I am trying to purchase a house from a parents estate. For my personal use. The house was used as a rental property. Curent renters refuse to coperate and allow a bank appraiser into the house. Several attemps have been made to make an appointment with them. At the time of renting no lease was signed, it was a vebal contract with the deceased parent. The quetion is :How can I get them to coperate with the Bank and allow the appraiser onto the property and move out after the house is placed in my name. I have offered to give them back their security deposit and one months free rent in order for them to find a new place.

Re: Property

The representitive of the estate needs to evict them. One must follow the ordinary eviction proceedures. Contact counsel for details.

Re: Property

What were the terms of the verbal lease? If it was month to month, serve them with an eviction notice. Once they are out, you can move forward with your plans.
