Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Spousal Property after separation

Married 9/1990, husband left suddenly April 1993, taking with him all marital assets. I have had sole custody of our daughter since separation. I have also been responsible for her health care and all other expenses. He has been in arrears with court ordered support since 1994. I recently found documentation stating that he received a $90,000 settlement in January 2000. He has never mentioned this, nor has he made good on his child support arrears. Although we have been separated (not legally) since April 1993, as his wife am I entitled to any part of this settlement? If so, how do I proceed? (He doesn't know that I know about the settlement.)

Consult an attorney immediately. If he has funds you will be able to get the back support. Move quickly before he spends all the money. You might want to attach the proceeds.
