Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania
PA lunch law?
employed by the Commonwelath of PA - is one entitled to a lunch (half hour) break? It is an unpaid break. Also, is a worker entitled to two 15 minute breaks in the work day? Our office is too busy to get the breaks? Can a worker legally leave the building to get away during a lunch or regular break?

AFSCME District Councils have copies of the relevant Collective Bargaining Agreements if you are unionized.
If you are management or not unionized, the answer is generally "No." although individual facts can produce differing results - diabetic under the Americans with Disability Act, for example.
To repeat, there is generally no free lunch, as unpalatable as that may sound.
