Am I intitled to his estate

My birth father passed away, when I was 8 my mother had me legal adoped by the man that she is married to, Am I still intitled to his estate and if he had a will how would I go about finding this info out His only living relt is his sister and she dosen:t speak to me

An adopted child is generally treated as a natural child, and is entitled to inherit as would a natural child. The real question is whether he has a will or not. Feel free to call me or e-mail me directly with any questions you have.
