Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
Determining Standard Visitation
Dear Honorable Law Guru,
Here is my question. My wife and I are getting divorced and have the same lawyer. We have no property or bills to settle. Everything is all set to go for the divorce. I have agreed that she will be getting full custody of our only child age 1 year 6 months. The only thing I am requesting is that I get standard visitation. The papers our lawyer drew up says standard visitation. The problem is that my wife has drawn up a visitation schedule the way she wants it and will not sway form it. From what I have read standard visitation includes 4 - 6 weeks in the summer, alternating hollidays, and every other weekend. I live in Colorado now and she lives in South Carolina. Do you think there will be a problem taking my son out of state to Colorado or to my parents house live in florida during my visitation times? . If we get into court and cant agree on the visitation will this hold up the divorce or can we proceed with the divorce and arrange visitation agreements later? Please give me your input.
THANKS A MILLION!

Re: Determining Standard Visitation
You need your own lawyer. Only your wife is repesented here, regardless what you may think.
