Back Child Support
Can child support be collected on behalf of a person who is in prison?
He was the custodial parent, but obviously the children did not live with him during his 12 yr. prison term for raping his 14 yr. old niece.

Strictly speaking, the custodial parent could file to collect the back support; however, it is unlikely that he will get a judgment for the arrearage under these circumstances.
