Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce decree modification

I am the custodial parent of an 11 year old. I recently moved 13 miles further away from my ex than I lived at the time of the divorce 2 years ago. He has filed a modification request to now force me to split the dirve time with him on his weekend visits, whereas the papers say he does the drive both ways. He makes $100,000 a year, I make $17,000 and even though I hired an attorney he is telling me the courts will give my ex what he wants. That does not seem fair to me. Can someone explain the courts logic for me?

Re: Divorce decree modification

You have an attorney. If you don't trust him, then you did not hire the right person for you.
