Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My children don't want to visit their Dad

My ex- husband and I recently went back to court. He wanted to modify visitation, but didn't want to tell me exactly what he wanted. He's in car sales and has always had very limited time to spend with the kids (but now he's remarried). He won 4 weeks in the summer as well as half of the kids X-mas break, to be alternated each year. Also every other Thanksgiving. He used to live about 20 minutes away and then moved to about an hour away. the judge also awarded him the ability to just pick the kids up from their schools on Fridays, but I have to pick them up at his house on Sundays... and not until 7:00P.M. Their father doesn't spend them time that he has with them because he works all day on the Saturday that he has them and they are left to sit in their rooms until he gets home in the evening. On Sundays, he and his wife almost always have company and so he doesn't get to spend quality time with them at that time either. I said this in court and the judge said that I was trying to mico manage his time. I feel like if the boys have to take time out of their weekend to see him, then he shoud at least make an effort to be there for a good part of it. They are 10&13 and dont' want to go. When can they decide on their own?

Whenever the judge who has jurisdiction(that means power and authority) over the case thinks that the boys' views on this matter should be dispositive.
