Legal Question in DUI Law in Colorado

Is it two charges

I got stopped for DUI. After being arrested they searched my car and found my prescription for pain medication. They also charged me for duid. Am I facing two seperate charges and revocations or will it be just a first one time dui or a DUI and DUID?

Re: Is it two charges

It is just one charge. If there is not a blood or breath test over .08, then there will not be a revocation of drivers' license unless you are convicted of a DUI (not DWAI).

Sometimes, they charge you with 2 DUIs, one alcohol and one drugs, but if convicted of both, then they merge and you are only sentenced on one. Let me know if you want to hire an attorney.
