Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Change name of daughter

I want to my daughtr's name. Since I have matured , I see the benefits of having a name that will bring success to a person. My daughter faces many side remarks and goof-offs because of the spelling of her name. My daughter and I both want the name change. Actually, it is my daughter's idea originally to have her name changed. We agree that we like the name , not the spelling.

The spelling of her name causes people to misprononce it, make fun of it, etc. We have agreeded that 12 years is long enough.

We hope you can help.
