Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

salary

My employer wants to lower my salary. I have been there for 1 month and a half. She says she will give me back my salary after a month if I meet her expectations. Can she do this?

Re: salary

Probably yes. If you have an existing employment agreement, then the terms of that agreement govern your relationship. If you are an at-will employee, than your employer has the right to alter the terms of your compensation, just as you have the right to quit at any time.
