Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Minnesota

Garnishment Exemption Notice

The Bank and I received a garnishment Exemption Notice.

The Notice said I owed $1600.00 and my bank deducted this from my account along with a $75.00 Fee.

I do not owe this money.

The Law firm has been sending me these kind of papers for the last three years and I been sending back with a letter telling them I do not owe this to anyone. If you feel I do take me to court.

After talking to my bank, The bank tells me they have to take this from my account because here in Minnesota the law stated if a law firm sends this kind of notice it is legal and most obey.

I called the district court where the papers look like they were from and they said I have no lends or judgement and n said paper have been filed with them.

So the question is

Is this legal to take money from my account without going to court or lend or judgement?

I don't know who to take to court?

And why I have to take anyone to court to prove I don't owe this?

The law firm should be taking me to court if they think I owe this.
