Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Please help, I feel like a surrogate mother!

I had ben involved with a man whom said he was straight out divorced, well he wasn't. I have a baby by him, he has bi-polar (found out later) he is in law, but not allowed to have a weapon. I'm afraid of him. After I had the baby he kept threatening that he could get custody b/c his wife is a stay at home Mom. She stuck by him. After the baby I tried to be fair & did just about everything he wanted, I was scared of him trying to take the baby away. I do have temp. primary residency. Him & his wife are taking over & I feel like a surrogate mother. He got to see her pretty much when he wanted since she was born. Then he decided b/c of his job (which I know for other reasons)he wants her every single weekend Sat. & Sun from 11-4. I put my foot down b/c I would like to spend weekends with her too. Every other weekend I'm fine with, but he is not. I do not work presently b/c baby is on apnea monitor & has other health problems. Someone told me b/c I do not work that he will be awarded every weekend. I cannot even get supervised at this point (she is 5 months) b/c I let her go previously with him. He wants to claim her every year on his taxes. Can he really win her EVERY weekend? I'm afraid of him he has done & said alot of things.

The Judge will decide the many issues you raise, if you take the correct steps to have this heard by the Judge. You have a much better chance of getting a better result if you have an attorney to help you. Have you tried talking to Legal Aid? To the Clerk of the Court in the Courthouse?
