injured at work

I was injured at work. I broke both bones in my left leg and my ankle. I have scars on my ankle and leg from the accident. I wanted to know if I can get a settlement from this.

1. When was the accident?

2. Was a Workers Comp. Claim opened?

3. If a claim was opened, have they been paying you while you have been out of work?
