Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Personal Items in boyfriends house

My daughter broke up with her boyfriend (father of her baby) and moved back in with us. She wants to go get her personal tems from his house. What is the legal way to do this or can she without his permission?

Re: Personal Items in boyfriends house

Based on what you have written, there may be a few potential avenues to pursue when obtaining personal items from a former residence. Additionally, has the alleged father acknowledged paternity of the child? Your daughter should consider filing a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship (SAPCR) to ensure that the the child is protected appropriately.
